The Traffic Penalty Tribunal’s Annual Report for the operating year 2025-26 has now been published.

The report provides appeal outcome statistics, information and an insight into the adjudicators’ work during the reporting year. With this report, the adjudicators welcome the opportunity of promoting open justice and increasing public understanding of their work.

Caroline Hamilton, Chief Adjudicator, said: ‘Open access to our work promotes public confidence in the Tribunal by providing motorists with a fuller understanding of the statutory fixed penalty scheme, representation and appeal process, and the remit of the independent adjudicators.’
