The Grounds of Appeal

The law sets out  formal grounds - or reasons - for making an appeal against Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs). An Adjudicator at the Traffic Penalty Tribunal may only consider appeals made on one of these formal grounds.

Select from the following options the type of PCN that has been issued to you:

• A parking PCN issued on or after 31 March 2008

• A bus lane PCN issued at any time

• A parking PCN issued on or before 30 March 2008
